MICRO WEDDING FAQ's

A Micro Wedding is a complete wedding on a smaller scale! 

Your guests will be delighted and honored that they made this short and sweet guest list!  

After the two of you exchange "I DO's", there is plenty of time for wedding photos and a complete reception filled with dinner, cake and dancing.

​HOW MUCH IS THE MICRO WEDDING PACKAGE and WHAT IS INCLUDED?

COST:  $2,995.00 + tax

RETAINER FEE:  $1,000.00 + tax due when reserving your wedding date.

SECOND PAYMENT DUE:  $1,000.00 + tax 3 Months prior to wedding date.

REMAINING BALANCE:  $995.00 + tax due exactly one month prior to your wedding date.

REQUIREMENTS DUE 30 DAYS PRIOR TO WEDDING DATE

• $250.00 Security CASH Deposit (100% refundable with no breach of contract).

• $250.00 Cleaning CASH Deposit (100% refundable with no breach of contract and the venue / grounds are left clean).

• Must Hire a FULL SERVICE CATERER from our catering list.  They will service both food and beverages.

• Must hire either a DJ/MC to play music / manage order of events / make all announcements OR hire Marry Me to "HOST" your reception.​

CEREMONY

✔ Wedding officiant

✔ Completion of marriage license and filing

✔ Ceremony Coordinator

✔ *A 30 Minute Rehearsal Scheduled the week of the wedding for an additional fee. ($50.00)

RECEPTION

✔ Takes place in The CARRIAGE HOUSE

✔ Sweet Heart Table

✔ 6 Guest Tables (seats 8 per table)

✔ Black Linens on all tables

✔ Seating for up to 50 people (we do not provide booster seats or highchairs)

✔ Choice of in-house centerpieces (or bring your own)

✔ Cake Table

✔ Gift/Card Table/Seating Chart

✔ Use of Card Box

✔ Sweet Heart Table Backdrop (This is a permanent fixture on the wall.  White fabric archway, greenery with white flowers, two flower towers)

HOW DO WE RESERVE A DATE/TIME FOR THE MICRO WEDDING PACKAGE?  

You will be required to complete a contract and pay the retainer fee to reserve this package.  

You can reserve your wedding date one of two ways;

IN PERSON:  You will need to come in on a TUESDAY during COTTAGE TOURS 3pm to 6pm to reserve a date and time.

EMAIL:  Contract and Invoice complete online.

 

CAN WE RESERVE ONLINE?  

Yes.  We can send over a CONTRACT and INVOICE via email.

WHERE IS OUR WEDDING CEREMONY HELD?

You have choices!

The COURTYARD:  Year Round

The WOODLANDS:  May - November (weather permitting)

HOW MUCH TIME DO WE HAVE AT THE COTTAGE?  

1 Hour prep

4 Hours for the Ceremony and Reception

CAN WE ADD MORE TIME TO THE MICRO WEDDING PACKAGE?

YES!  This can be used for prep, decorating with personal items OR pre-photos.  LIMIT of 10 persons.  

1 HOUR EARLY ACCESS:  $195.00

(NO TIME CAN BE ADDED TO THE END)​

WHAT TIME CAN WE ARRIVE?

ON TIME!  Doors will open precisely at the start of your reserved time frame.

​

HOW MANY GUESTS CAN WE HAVE?  

Up to 48 guests are included in the package.  This means you can reserve this package and invite anywhere from 2 guests to 48 guests.

DO CHILDREN COUNT AS A GUEST?

YES! Children of all ages count as a guest.  - The venue does NOT provide boosters or highchairs.  We will remove chairs in the reception area to accommodate strollers.

WHAT IF WE HAVE 50 GUESTS? 

Marry Me is very strict with guest limits.  Please be aware that guest count over 48 persons will be turned away.

CAN WE GET DRESSED AT THE COTTAGE?  

YES.  Please plan accordingly as you will have approximately 25 minutes to dress prior to the ceremony.  We allow 3 persons in the wedding suite.

The couple getting married at the venue is allowed access to get dressed.  All other wedding party members and guests are expected to arrive dressed and ready.

CAN WE PROVIDE OUR OWN PLAYLIST?

YES.  If you hire Marry Me to "HOST" your ceremony and reception, you will be required to create your own music playlist.

HOW MUCH TIME DO WE HAVE TO CLEAN/COLLECT PERSONAL ITEMS AFTER THE RECEPTION?

30 Minutes.  This may seem short, however, with a smaller wedding, you won't have much to collect.
